The Mean Green are coming off a 35-20 win over SFA as 23.5-point favorites. The Red Raiders are coming off a 37-16 loss to Washington State as 2.5-point favorites.

Texas Tech is 3-2 in five games against North Texas.

The Red Raiders were beaten by the Washington State Cougars 37-16 in their most recent game. Last time out, the Mean Green won 35-20 over the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks. In that matchup with the Cougars, Behren Morton had 323 yards on 34-of-58 passing (58.6%) for the Raiders, with one touchdown and two interceptions. Cameran Brown ran for 70 yards on five carries (14.0 yards per carry). Josh Kelly recorded nine receptions for 95 yards (averaging 10.6 per catch) against the Cougars. Chandler Morris threw for 322 yards for the Mean Green against the Lumberjacks, going 26-for-44 (59.1%) with four touchdowns and three interceptions. In that matchup, Damashja Harris had a 10-carry, 142-yard game (14.2 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. DT Sheffield recorded 74 yards through the air after six catches (on 13 targets), with three touchdowns.

So far, the Mean Green has taken on two lesser teams in South Alabama and Stephen F. Austin. They beat both of those opponents by at least 15 points.

UNT is a frightening matchup for the Red Raiders because of how they play offense. Currently, averaging 384.0 passing yards per game, the Eagles rank third in the nation in passing offense.

On the other hand, head coach Eric Morris (a Texas Tech alum) is seeing his team struggle on defense similar to what Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire is experiencing this year. Giving up 415 yards per game, UNT ranks 111th nationally in total defense. Thus, points could be plentiful this weekend in Lubbock.

So let's check out all of the game info fans will need know for Saturday morning. And we'll start with the broadcast teams and where you can find the game on television.
