Former Kent State standout at shortstop, Jessica Toocheck, was named head softball coach of her alma mater at Medina High School.
Toocheck was named 2008 MAC Player of the Year, a 2008 Easton All-American, and academic All-American first team.
Following her career with the blue and gold, Toocheck played professionally for the Akron Racers.
