Why is it that Kent State's lineup always seems to have more ink than a comic bookstore?

I understand Coach Senderoff wants his players to have the freedom to choose their own shoes, but shouldn't he at least require the shoes to match the color scheme of the uniforms?

I understand pink is worn to raise awareness of breast cancer, but should a player be able to wear pink shoes when it's not during breast cancer awareness week, month, whatever?

Call me old-fashioned, but I like college players who look like college students. Take a look at the Ohio Bobcats team photo below. There's no ink on their arms or any player wearing pink shoes.

The results of the Kent State/Ohio University basketball game in Athens did not surprise me.

If both AJ Clayton and Aidan Hadaway had been available to play, the Bobcats would have easily won by double digits.

Without these two starters, Ohio University just barely defeated the Flashes at home. But in the end, character and discipline ultimately won.
