The 2024 MTV VMAs will be held at New York's UBS Arena on Wednesday, September 11, after being moved due to the presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, which took place on September 10. Taylor Swift packed a punch as the leader in nominations with 12 nods, including eight for her and Post Malone’s song “Fortnight,” as well as Best Pop and Artist of the Year. If she wins Video of the Year, she’ll also be the first artist to earn the honor in the category three consecutive times.
Meanwhile, Ariana Grande earned seven nominations with her album eternal sunshine and is tied with Sabrina Carpenter—nominated for the first time at the VMAs—and Megan Thee Stallion.
