ABC, which is airing the 76th annual ceremony live on Sunday, September 15, has invited father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy of Schitt’s Creek fame to host the telecast. “We were asked before and it didn’t feel like the right time for whatever reason,” Dan told The Los Angeles Times ahead of the Primetime Emmys. “Then we were asked again this year, and I think ran out of reasons not to do it. It seemed like a fun little challenge—not little, quite huge actually.”

Nominations for the 76th Emmy Awards were announced Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from the historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, recognizing remarkable programs, extraordinary performances and impactful storytelling across multiple platforms.
