Schitt’s Creek stars (and father-son duo) Eugene and Dan Levy will host the 2024 Emmys, which air live from downtown Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater this Sunday, Sept. 15, on ABC and will stream on-demand the following day on Hulu. The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards is finally here and set to premiere on ABC Sunday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (7 p.m. Central Time) This year’s Emmy Awards will be hosted by father-son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy mostly known for their roles as father and son in the critically acclaimed series Schitt’s Creek.
The top-nominated series include FX’s Shogun (which leads with 25 nominations) and The Bear (23 nods, a comedy series record), Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building (21) and HBO/Max’s True Detective: Night Country (19). The 2024 Creative Arts Emmys took place at the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live on Sept. 7 and 8. Per the Emmys, “an edited presentation” will be broadcast live on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on FXX and stream on Hulu from Sept. 15 to Oct. 9.

Ahead of the awards ceremony, Entertainment Weekly Editor-in-Chief Patrick Gomez and People Editor-at-Large Janine Rubenstein will co-host E! network’s Live From E! Countdown to the Emmys on Sept. 15 starting at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET, followed by red carpet coverage at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET.
