Schitt’s Creek stars (and father-son duo) Eugene and Dan Levy will host the 2024 Emmys, which air live from downtown Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater this Sunday, Sept. 15, on ABC and will stream on-demand the following day on Hulu. It comes after last year’s awards show broadcasted in January after being postponed due to the 2023 writers and actors strikes.

The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards is finally here and set to premiere on ABC Sunday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (7 p.m. Central Time) This year’s Emmy Awards will be hosted by father-son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy mostly known for their roles as father and son in the critically acclaimed series Schitt’s Creek.


The top-nominated series include FX’s Shogun (which leads with 25 nominations) and The Bear (23 nods, a comedy series record), Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building (21) and HBO/Max’s True Detective: Night Country (19). How to Watch the 2024 Emmys: Air Date & Time, Where to Stream Online The 2024 Emmy Awards will broadcast live on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on ABC, and will stream on-demand on Hulu from Sept. 16 to 22.

The 2024 Creative Arts Emmys took place at the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live on Sept. 7 and 8. Per the Emmys, “an edited presentation” will be broadcast live on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on FXX and stream on Hulu from Sept. 15 to Oct. 9.

2024 Emmys: Red Carpet, Ceremony, After Party Coverage

Ahead of the awards ceremony, Entertainment Weekly Editor-in-Chief Patrick Gomez and People Editor-at-Large Janine Rubenstein will co-host E! network’s Live From E! Countdown to the Emmys on Sept. 15 starting at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET, followed by red carpet coverage at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET.
