Usyk vs Fury 2 is almost here – which means it's time to figure out the best (and possibly cheapest) way to watch the big fight live on Saturday, December 21, from Riyadh.

The hotly-anticipated heavyweight clash between WBA, WBC, WBO, and Ring Magazine champion Oleksandr Usyk and former WBC champion Tyson Fury is expected to sell more than 1 million pay-per-views.

Boxing fans can watch it live on TV thanks to major sports networks such as DAZN, ESPN+ and Sky Sports, as well as online via their respective streaming apps.

“I’m the only show in town,” Fury said during the “Reignited” Grand Arrivals. “This time around everything is pretty much the same. It’s the biggest event of my life, so in that regard it’s pretty much the same. From one biggest event to the next biggest event. I’m looking forward to putting on a show as always. I’m going to knock him out. I’m going to give Turki what I promised him in May, a cooked rabbit in his kitchen. That’s my promise!”

In their first bout, Fury was 28 ½ pounds heavier when the two men hit the scales. However, Usyk proved that size doesn’t matter when he rallied down the stretch to drop “The Gypsy King” and secure a memorable split decision triumph.

To give away almost 30 pounds of functional weight to an opponent is a huge challenge but Usyk has always had the requisite speed, skills, mobility, and durability to overcome the size disadvantage. That’s just as well because Fury looks like he might have put on even more bulk ahead of the rematch.

Competition starts on Dec. 26 and will go through Jan. 5, and will feature elite youth prospects from all over the world.

Whether you're a first-time viewer or a seasoned fan, understanding how the World Juniors 2025 tournament progresses is crucial for following the action from start to finish. In this guide, we’ll break down the tournament structure, key dates, and the rising stars you’ll want to keep an eye on.

2025 World Juniors Hockey Tournament Format Explained

Each year, the top ten ranked hockey nations in the world put together a roster of their best under-20 players to convene for a multi-round tournament to earn the title of IIHF World Junior champion. This year, the tournament is in Ottawa, Canada.

In 2025, the tournament follows a similar format to previous seasons. The tournament uses a three point system:

3 points for a winning team at the conclusion of regulation time

2 points for both teams at the conclusion of regulation time if the game is tied

An additional point is earned for the team winning in a 5-minute overtime, or the penalty-shot shootout if the teams are still tied following overtime

0 points for a team losing the game in regulation time

Similar to the NHL regular season rules, overtime is played with each team icing three skaters and a goalie.

The tournament starts with two round-robin tournaments five teams each and then moves into single-elimination playoff games.

Ten teams are divided into two, five-team groups in a preliminary round, also called the group stage. After a single round-robin series in each group, the top four teams as scored by points in each group advance to the playoff rounds.

The fifth place teams move to the relegation round. The winner play in the next IIHF World Junior Championship. The loser is relegated to the U20 World Championships Division I Group A.

Based on placements from the group stage, the remaining eight teams move into single-elimination playoffs to compete in a cross-over quarterfinal game. The top placed team in one group play the lowest placed team from the other group, and so forth.

Heading into the semifinal round, the remaining four teams are reseeded based on the following criteria:

Placement in their group

Points in the group stage

Goal difference in the group stage

Goals scored in the group stage

Seeding coming into the tournament

Finally, the semifinal winners move into the Gold medal game while the losers play for the bronze medal.

Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury meet again in what promises to be another era-defining night in boxing. Usyk, of course, became the first undisputed world champion of the heavyweight division back in May by edging a tight points victory against the ‘Gypsy King’ in Saudi Arabia. It was the first loss of Fury’s remarkable career, while Usyk sealed undisputed status in a second division, having already completed the set of titles at cruiserweight.

Fury (34-1-1) already secured his legacy after beating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 to hold gold and taking out Deontay Wilder twice for the WBC heavyweight title. The 36-year-old suffered the first career loss and looks to end 2024 by getting a win back.

The Ukrainian is the slight favourite to defend his WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, IBO and The Ring belts in Saturday’s rematch, with the IBF belt no longer in his collection. That was vacated soon after the first fight and has since been won by Daniel Dubois.

Fury is up against it here. While the British fighter does boast a proud record in rematches throughout his career, he has never actually had to come back from a loss before and looked extremely vulnerable at stages in the first fight, particularly in that ninth round when he could well have been stopped.

Beating Usyk would be a remarkable achievement, while the reigning champion would cement his place among the finest heavyweights the sport has seen should he beat Fury for a second time.

The build to a fight can bring tension. A fighter could sacrifice whatever it takes not to be distracted. For Fury, he sacrificed family time to prepare for the rematch.

“I’ll end his career, this will be, you’ll never hear about Oleksandr Usyk again after this,” Fury told Queensberry Promotions via Bloody Elbow. “It’s been a long camp, hasn’t seen my wife and kids in 3 months. I haven’t spoken to [my wife] at all in 3 months. Not one word, sacrificed a lot. But it’ll all be worth it. 100%.”

Tonight’s co-feature fight sees Serhii Bohachuk take on Ishmael Davis in a light-middleweight title eliminator.

Ukraine’s Bohachuk (24-2) had been due to take on the former champion Israil Madrimov (10-1-1), only for the latter to fall ill with acute bronchitis. That saw Britain’s Davis (13-1) given the nod.

With just one day to go before Tyson Fury's world heavyweight championship clash with Oleksandr Usyk, the rival camps are locked in a dispute over a replacement official. Usyk's rematch with Britain's Fury is due to take place this Saturday on a Riyadh Season bill live on Sky Sports Box Office. The WBO, WBA and WBC championships, which Usyk won from Fury in their first fight, will be on the line.

Fernando Barbosa had been due to be one of the three judges on fight night but he was unable to travel to Riyadh due to illness.

Two officials, Steve Weisfeld and Ignacio Robles, have been flown in to replace him. But the respective fighter teams are split on which judge should be used on fight night, with promoter Frank Warren suggesting a coin toss should settle the issue.

"There are two standby judges, both of them are flying in and we've got to decide which one it's going to be.

"We want one of them and the other camp wants the other, so I've suggested we spin a coin."

Warren believes a resolution will eventually be found. "This will get sorted. Use a bit of common sense, and actually both camps are very, very professional and know what they have to do," he said.

The other key points of contention at Friday's rules meeting were the length of Fury's beard, the position of the shorts and kissing a cross in the corner.sadsadsadsad

How To Watch Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk In New York
