San Marino experienced their finest moment last autumn during the Nations League, contending with Liechtenstein and Gibraltar for top spot in League B. Managed by Roberto Cevoli, they recorded just one defeat and collected seven points, earning a historic promotion to League C. Along the way, they marked several milestones, including their first-ever official win and the first time scoring more than one goal in a match — both achieved against Liechtenstein with 1-0 and 3-1 victories respectively.
